According to Diario Gol, Barcelona star Lionel Messi hopes to leave Barcelona
The 29-year-old has spent his entire career with Barcelona after joining from Newell’s Old Boys’ youth system in 2001.
But the source notes that he has always suggested he could leave his side.
Previously the Argentinian forward is involved in one of the greatest scandals. Reports indicate that the Argentine wants to have a feel of the English Premier League (EPL) where Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have all shown interest to land the 29-year-old player.
Messi also said he wants end his career with his boyhood and hometown team.
And according to the source, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner wants a release clause in his upcoming deal which allows him to end his time there when he sees fit to join the Argentine side.
The striker is currently contracted to Barca until 2018.
